The Beizal Capitol is home mostly to the ruling class and those who immediately serve them– and to the Holy Throne and its castle.
The city is beautiful and fortified, at an advantageous and defensible position from any attackers. Aëvon’s best archmages, Keppon’s best architects, Drailon’s best beastkeepers, and Lúzidon’s best herbalists are all gathered here as representatives of their Wards and as important servants of the Throne, each given the special title of Heirophant.
There are a small number of high-class commoners who live in the city surrounding the capital; it is expensive and there’s not much space. New families can typically only move in if another one leaves for some reason, typically unfavorable circumstances like the death of a Heirophant or excommunication of a family.
Not much is known about the castle and the Holy Throne. Access is limited to only the crustiest of the upper crust.
